About
I’ve been building for twenty years, spanning software engineering, design, and strategy — often the one deciding what got built. I started out in fashion and creative studios. Later I founded my own businesses, working with some of the biggest companies in the world, and some of the boldest startups.

My studio
I ran Tuple, my studio, for seventeen years from its founding in 2007. As principal, I assembled specialist teams per project. The early work was for photographers, galleries, and creative studios. Getty Images followed, and the work grew from there: Banked’s Pay by Bank button, prosperity indexes for the Legatum Institute and the Milken Institute, and Not Optional with Index Ventures — the campaign that helped move over €5bn into the hands of European startup employees and changed equity legislation across Europe. I wound it down in late 2024 to focus on AI, passing my client roster to a trusted partner agency.
Leadership
Founders have brought me in at leadership level — sometimes as fractional CTO, sometimes to advise. I led the initial technical architecture at a fashion e-commerce business, took the same seat at a consumer marketplace, and shaped goal-setting and operating frameworks with Mixcloud’s founders. At The Dots, a professional network for creatives, I spent three years leading the replatform and hiring the engineering team — the full story is in the case study.
Consulting
Recently, I’ve been working with ex-Google engineers in the AI space. Taptics is my consulting practice, advising AI and technology companies on strategy, operations, and on-device AI. I’m opinionated about where the models help and where the hype gets in the way.
Now
Right now I’m working out where twenty years of opinions are best pointed in AI. The current focus, and what’s next, is on the now page.
